www.aeatl.it, or the “Site” uses cookies to render its services simple and efficient for users visiting the pages of www.aeatl.it.

Types of cookies utilised by www.aeatl.it

Below are the different types of cookies utilised by www.aeatl.it along with their use:

Technical cookies

This type of cookie aids the correct functioning of certain sections of the Site.  There are two types; persistent and session:

  • Persistent: once the browser is closed, the cookies are not destroyed but remain until a pre-fixed expiration date;
  • Session: the cookies are destroyed every time the browser is closed.

These cookies, which are always sent by our domain, are necessary to correctly view the Site and for the correct functioning of the technical services offered.  They will always therefore be utilised and sent, unless the user modifies the settings in his/her browser (in doing so, affecting the display of the web pages).

Analytical cookies

Cookies of this type are utilised to collect information on the use of the Site.  www.aeatl.it will use this information to analyse statistics on an anonymous basis, with the aim of improving the use of the Site and to render the content both more interesting and attractive to the user.  This type of cookie collects data in an anonymous form on the activity of the user and how he/she arrived at the Site.  Analytical cookies are sent by the Site itself or by third-party domains.

Third-party analytical service cookies

These cookies are used in order to collect anonymous information on the use of the Site by users, such as:  pages visited, time spent, origins of the user traffic, geographical provenance, age, gender and interests for the purpose of marketing campaigns.  These cookies are sent from third-party domains external to the Site.

Third-party cookies to integrate products and software functions

This type of cookie integrates functions developed by third parties within the pages of the Site such as icons and preferences expressed on social network sites in order to share the content of the site or for the use of third-party software services (such as software to generate maps and other software offering additional services).  These cookies are sent from third-party domains and partner sites that offer their functionalities within the pages of the Site.

Profile cookies

These are cookies necessary to create user profiles with the aim of sending marketing messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user within the pages of the Site.

In accordance with the laws in force, www.aeatl.it is not obliged to ask consent for the use of technical and analytical cookies as they are required in order to provide the services requested by the User.

For all other types of cookies, the User may express his/her consent by one or more of the following methods:

  • through specific configuration of the browser utilised or of the relative computer programmes used to navigate the pages of the Site;

How to disable cookies by configuration of the browser:

Chrome

Run the Chrome browser.

Click on the menu in the browser tool bar next to the url entry window for navigation.

Select ‘Settings’.

Click ‘Show Advanced Settings’.

In the ‘Privacy’ section, click on the ‘content Settings’ button.

In the ‘Cookie’ section the following cookie settings can be changed to:

  • allow data to be saved locally;
  • change local data only until the browser is closed;
  • prevent sites from setting cookies;
  • block third-party cookies and site data;
  • manage exceptions for some websites;
  • eliminate one or all cookies.

Mozilla Firefox

Run the Mozilla Firefox browser.

Click on the menu in the browser tool bar next to the url entry window for navigation.

Select ‘Options’.

Select ‘Privacy’.

Click on ‘Show Advanced Settings’.

In the ‘Privacy’ section click the ‘Content Settings’ button.

From the ‘Tracking’ section the following cookie settings can be changed:

  • request sites not to make any tracking;
  • communicate to sites your willingness to be tracked;
  • not communicate any preference with regard to the tracking of personal data.

From the ‘History’ section it is possible to:

  • accept third-party cookies by enabling ‘Use custom settings’, (always, from the most visited sites or never) and to retain them for a specified period (until they expire, when you close Firefox or ask you each time);
  • Remove individual cookies stored.

Safari 6

Run the Safari browser.

Click on Safari, select ‘Preferences’ and ‘Privacy’.

In the ‘Block Cookies’ section, specify how Safari should accept cookies from internet sites.

To view which sites have stored cookies, click on ‘Details’.

Safari iOS (mobile devices)

Run the Safari iOS Browser.

Select ‘Settings’ and then ‘Safari’.

Select ‘Block Cookies’ and choose amongst the various options: ‘Never’, ‘Third-party and advertisers’ or ‘Always’.

To delete all stored cookies from Safari, select ‘Settings’, then on ‘Safari’ and finally, ‘Delete cookies and data’.

Opera

Run the Opera browser.

Click on ‘Preferences’ then on ‘Advanced’ and then on ‘Cookies’.

Select one of the following options:

  • Accept all cookies;
  • accept cookies only from sites visited: third-party cookies and those sent by domains different from those visited will be refused;
  • never accept cookies: all cookies will never be saved.
